Florida Parishes 4-H Outdoor Skills Field Day

The Spring Florida Parishes 4-H Outdoor Skills Field Day will be held Saturday, March 7th at the Southeast Research Station. The station is located on Hwy. 16 just west of Franklinton.

They will have the usual shotgun and archery shooting and will "kick-off" the 4-H Fishing project. It will include a casting demo with practice, fish ID and ecology, along with "Who Wants to be a Fishing Millionaire". It's going to be fun so please try to attend. For more information visit the LSU AgCenter website at http://www.lsuagcenter.com/en/4H/News/events/Florida+Parishes+4H+Outdoor+Skills+Field+Day.htm
The Spring Field Day will also be a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Field Day to complete your requirements for the Hunter's Safety card. You must take the course online and print out your test. This site is http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/education/homestudyprogram/. Then come to the Field Day and complete the required activities that day.
