SET Board members win big at the 2009 4-H University

SET Board members took home honors as state contest winners and alternates as the LSU AgCenter’s 4-H University concluded Thursday night (June 25) on the LSU campus.

Hundreds were winners in 4-H competitions for trips and prizes. This year nearly 1,550 4-H'ers participated in the 95th annual 4-H University. 4-H University is a three-day 4-H event which includes contests, educational programs, tours, elections, and special night assemblies.

Competitions come in areas ranging from agricultural demonstrations to wildlife habitat judging and from career preparation to consumer decision making.

As winners of the State Wildlife Habitat Judging contest, Micah Patout and Ridge Miguez will be attending the National Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program. Good Luck!
